8 Weird Things That Were Totally OK a Century Ago

The Roaring 20s was a time of prosperity and change. A lot came out in this decade including the rise of jazz music. Jazz music was everywhere in the U.S. Dating rules and expectations were also changing. Previously, parents helped choose marriage partners. However, during the 1920s, young adults started going on dates. They'd meet in speakeasies, where they could drink and smoke together.

Although the 1920s was a century ago, not a lot has changed. Much of the fashion, now labeled as vintage, is still popular. People still sport bold red lipstick and kohl-rimmed eyes. So, what are some things that we no longer do that were normal in the 1920s? There are quite a few!
