Watch Jon Bon Jovi Save This Nashville Woman From Jumping to Her Death

Jon Bon Jovi opened a bar in Nashville, TN, this summer. JBJ’s Nashville joined the myriad celebrity-themed establishments on Music City’s famed Music Row last spring, and since it’s opening, the eponymous owner has been spotted in and around the city from time to time.

As luck would have it, the rock legend (and object of yours truly’s affection) happened to be in the right place at the right time in the absolute truest sense of the phrase. This video shows a woman (blue shirt to the bottom left of the screen) standing on the edge of the city’s John Seigenthaler Bridge, which spans the Cumberland River in Nashville’s downtown. While a trio walks right past the woman, you’ll notice a person with whom Bon Jovi is walking take notice. She approaches the woman and engages in conversation. Bon Jovi walks slowly toward her as well in a non-confrontational way. They talk to her for a while, eventually coercing be back to the safe side of the bridge. The celebrity stays and talks with her for a while, likely providing some words of encouragement before they all — the woman, Bon Jovi and his entourage — all head away from the surveillance camera to the other end of the bridge.

If you weren’t a fan before, I suspect you may be now.
