These 20 States Spend the Most on Fast Food, According to Consumer Data

If you like fast food, you aren't alone. Fast food is huge in the United States. It's available in small towns and large cities, so it's not strange that most of us eat it at least once a week.

About a third of U.S. adults eat fast food on any given day. Interestingly, some states are known to spend more on fast food than others, but which ones?

For this slideshow, we utilized a study conducted by WalletHub where they ranked states by how much they spend on fast food. To do this, WalletHub ranked the states by the cost of fast food as a share of median monthly household income. We've also included general information like the state's population, the average price of a fast food meal in the state (Taco Bell), and popular fast food spots.
