The Most Disappointing Disney Live-Action Remakes, Ranked by Ratings
Disney is a media giant known for its family-friendly movies and cartoons that have captivated audiences for generations. But, every so often, they make a film of a fan favorite that doesn't quite hit the mark.
Recently, the surge of live-action remakes has dominated the box office. Moviegoers are buying tickets to see their favorite animated characters come to life through a mix of CGI and real-life actors.Unfortunately, some of these Disney adaptations of fan favorites fall short… very short.
To determine the most disappointing Disney live-action adaptations, 24/7 Tempo developed an index using average ratings on IMDb, an online movie database owned by Amazon, and a combination of audience scores and Tomatometer scores on Rotten Tomatoes, an online movie and TV review aggregator.
These films may not have gotten positive feedback but they aren't all that bad. However, they probably should have been left to age gracefully.
