The weather always seems to be a topic at the forefront of discussions. It makes sense too as it affects everything we do. Whether you're planning a vacation, going on an outdoor adventure, attending a garden party, or simply want to enjoy an afternoon in your yard, many of our activities are spent outside and can be weather permitting. If Mother Nature isn't agreeable, things can be disastrous, like this record-breaking weather we never want to see again.

Weather is something that has always impacted people. From basic weather patterns to natural disasters, weather can be deadly. But as technology has advanced meteorologists can more accurately predict certain weather patterns, although weather is still out of our control. Extreme weather patterns, storms, or temperatures, can have devastating effects.

To create a list of record-breaking weather we never want to see again, 24/7 Tempo consulted several sources including Climate.gov, the National Weather Service, and CNN. (Check out the highest temperatures in the U.S. every June since 1950.)
