Gunslingers of the Wild West: 26 Lawmen and Outlaws Who Ruled the Frontier

From murderous outlaws to the lawmen who helped tame the Old West, gunslingers ruled the open space as European settlers pressed westward. Although you may be familiar with outlaws such as Billy the Kid and Wild Bill Hickock, other, less well-known, gunslingers were just trying to keep the peace. For example, Stagecoach Mary delivered mail in northern Montana, fiercely defending her packages from bandits.
