Avoid These Dairy Products and Their Suspected Microplastics

According to Consumer Reports, the dairy products on this list have high levels of plasticizers. While it can be challenging to avoid plasticizers altogether because they are found in many food items, beauty and self-care products, and even dust, knowing which products have considerable traces of plastic chemicals is a good idea.

This particular Consumer Report looked at the amount of phthalates in 85 foods. During this study, it was discovered that the plastic chemical was present in each item tested except for one. While this discovery is surprising, the results can help you make wiser food decisions. Within the study, phthalates were found in ten dairy products. The results are listed below.

To compile a list of dairy products with high levels of plasticizers in them, 24/7 Tempo first consulted the Consumer Reports study, then studies published in Pub Med and the American Journal of Public Health were also consulted. This list can help you become more aware of how much plastic chemicals are hiding in your dairy products.
