For decades, people have been told that diet soda is the better choice. Soft drink companies have consistently marketed low-calorie sodas as a healthier alternative to regular soda. But while diet sodas have fewer calories, which might be good for people trying to limit their caloric intake, there aren't many other added health benefits.
