In 2025, we said farewell to an extraordinary group of individuals whose creativity, intellect, and compassion left an enduring mark on their fields and on the world around them. Their passing reminds us of life’s fragility and of the powerful ways one person’s talents can inspire many others.
This slideshow pays tribute to thirty-three remarkable people whose influence reached into entertainment, music, science, education, and beyond. Among them were beloved performers, visionary artists, pioneering thinkers, and courageous leaders. Some left us suddenly, others after long struggles with illness, and a few under circumstances that continue to bring reflection and sorrow.
