The Twice Blessed Resale Shop in St. Louis and Our Lady's Inn Maternity Homes are partners in the same mission: to support pregnant women in need. Women who live in a Maternity home can earn job training by working at the shop.

The store offers a variety of women's and children's clothing, accessories, and shoes. Twice Blessed sells name-brand donated items at thrift store prices, and accepts donations of in-season used or new items during regular store hours.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul has nine locations around the city and an online store where you can shop from the convenience of your phone. All thrift store proceeds go back to St. Vincent de Paul and fund their charitable programs. This organization is well-known for helping those in need and is one of the oldest charities in St. Louis.

The St. Vincent de Paul Society accepts donations through donation bins, or you can schedule a pickup online.

You can't go wrong with Max and Moo's Thrift. It's a newer store, only having opened in 2022. But the wonderful selection of name-brand clothing, furniture, and home decor. Even though the set up may remind you of a boutique consignment store, Max and Moo's does not accept items for consignment. If you're interested in donating, contact the store directly. This boutique thrift store donates to the non-profit Angels Frontline with every purchase.

The Resale Shop donates all proceeds to the National Council of Jewish Women for charities local to St. Louis. This store sells a variety of gently used items, including clothing, jewelry, accessories, and home decor, and accepts donations Monday through Saturday. Upscale Resale STL is a thrift shop with a large selection of high-end clothing, accessories, and furniture at discount prices. The shop receives new items each week and offers unique deals like their brown bag sale, where you can purchase whatever you can fit in a bag for $25. They are also known for having a large selection of men's items.

Mesa Home's vintage vibe and 1970s through 1990s clothing give it an adorable boutique atmosphere. The store also offers handmade items from local vendors throughout St. Louis. Unfortunately, they're only open on Saturdays, but we think that adds to the intrigue and interest.

The prices are a little higher because May's Place focuses on quality. However, you'll still save money on gently used clothing, jewelry, accessories, and gifts.

Yelpers say that its like having a personal shopper that knows exactly what you want. There is always something new and a portion of the proceeds support the Humane Society, women's shelters and Caritas for displaced children.

If you're looking to find several unique items all in one place, don't miss The Green Shag Market. This marketplace operates more like a vintage and antique mall, working with multiple vendors to provide items in all styles. The Green Shag Market has also been listed as the "Best Thrift Store" in the state of Missouri by Apartment Therapy. Be sure to check their store hours, however, as they are only open on weekends.

Supporting the variable tuition offered by the Miriam School and Learning Center, the Miriam Switching Post is a focuses on furniture, antiques, and home décor. The variable tuition program directly benefits lower income families so their kids can also attend the school.
