The first camera was invented in the early part of the 19th century, more than 200 years ago. Since then, the ability to capture images has advanced exponentially, with the choices for cameras available in everything from smartphones and laptops to digital cameras and even older analog, or traditional, cameras. With all of these gadgets available to us now, the ability to capture breathtaking moments on film is greater than it ever has been. But it wasn't always this accessible.
