Even With A-List Casts, These Movies Couldn’t Escape Their Reputation for Boredom

No one heads into a movie hoping to be bored, but sometimes we end up stuck in one anyway. Whether it's action, romance, sci-fi, or historical drama, we expect some degree of momentum or excitement in our films. But, every now and then, a movie delivers nothing but boredom and underwhelming performances.

What makes a movie "boring" is subjective, of course. Some audiences embrace slow pacing and minimal dialogue, while others crave action or emotional payoff. However, no matter your point of view, there are certain films that have repeatedly been called out for their lack of energy, coherence, or watchability, even when backed by big-name actors and massive budgets.

To compile this list of some of Hollywood's biggest snooze fests, 24/7 Tempo reviewed critical and audience scores from Rotten Tomatoes, IMDb, and Metacritic, along with discussions on Reddit and Screen Rant forums.
