If North Dakota is on your travel list, we have a list for you: five of the most lavish North Dakota hotels where you can rest your weary feet after a day of adventure. Jasper Hotel

First on our list of North Dakota’s most expensive hotels is the Jasper Hotel in Fargo. Conde Nast Traveler included it in their list of the Top 15 Hottest Hotels in the Midwest, for good reason. It offers spacious guest rooms with plenty of amenities. The hotel is a wonderful event and party venue with generous outdoor patios and well-lit spaces—making it one of the most popular wedding venues in the state.

If you’re willing to splurge beyond the basics, there are a few exceptional rooms with extras, and don’t forget the fitness room, sauna, and pool. There’s even a pet add-on available with your reservation that includes a dog bed, bowl, and a few other items to make your best pal’s stay just as wonderful as your own.

Rosewild, one of Fargo’s best restaurants, is a must-visit for foodies with a taste for Nordic-inspired cuisine. The menu features creative cocktails, delicious dishes, and a warm atmosphere. It’s open daily and is the perfect complement to your stay at the Jasper Hotel.

Radisson Blu Fargo

Price: $180 to $500 per night

The Radisson Blu Fargo is conveniently located near both the airport and North Dakota State University. It offers banquet rooms, a fitness center, a coffee shop, a bar, and more. Rooms on higher floors have gorgeous views of the city skyline, and on a clear night, you can see forever. One of the hotel’s best features is its proximity to the Walk of Fame, Plains Art Museum, and FM Community Theater. When you’re feeling a little hungry, there’s an on-site restaurant open throughout the day, ready to serve pancakes for breakfast and steak for dinner.

Attractions in Fargo include some of the prettiest golf courses, with rolling hills and big blue sky. North Dakota also has 13 state parks to visit, including Sakakawea State Park and Icelandic State Park.

Canad Inns Grand Forks

For a family-friendly, loaded-with-fun hotel stay, Canad Inn in Grand Forks. While it isn’t as rich in the amenities of other expensive luxury hotels, its purpose is family fun. And you certainly get that here. Canad Inn Destination Center in Grand Forks has an indoor water park. So everyone can do more than just play in a pool—there are water slides, spray pads, and more, all for the kids.

The rooms certainly have some variety. Over 200 rooms with themes ranging from kids’ rooms and jacuzzi rooms to penthouse suites. Canad Inn has several restaurants, all with different styles:

  • Aaltos offers comfort food, plus a buffet for midnight snackers.
  • Tavern United is a terrific sports pub for casual dining with friends.
  • ‘L Bistro is a combination of Italian and comfort food.
  • Garbonzo’s Pizza & Arcade has typical arcade fare with pizza, breadsticks, and salad. Before and after dinner, let the kids play arcade games.

For the grown-up kids, the Playmaker’s All-American Lounge has casino games and blackjack. While you’re there, check out the sports memorabilia before you watch the football game on Sunday.

Clubhouse Hotel & Suites

Price: $160 and up

For an unforgettable experience, Clubhouse Hotel & Suites in Fargo is a smaller hotel, with 100 beautifully decorated rooms and suites. Many rooms feature balconies and whirlpool tubs, but for true luxury, consider the Presidential Suite—with two levels, a kitchenette, and a hot tub this room is gorgeous.

Here, you’ll even enjoy a full complimentary breakfast (no continental breakfast here), the stunning backyard patio, and an indoor water playland for the kiddos.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Fargo

Price: $200 and up

The understated exterior of Hilton’s Homewood Suites in Fargo hides plenty of amenities. They offer free breakfast, connecting rooms, a fitness center, an indoor pool, skiing opportunities, and more. This hotel is across from the FargoDome and is walking distance from North Dakota State University.

Homewood Suites offers large rooms with multiple areas in each, and a business center for working travelers, there’s something here for people who need a little peace and quiet.
