Many people consider Hawaii to be their dream vacation destination. With its beautiful beaches, lush rainforests, national parks, and stunning waterfalls, it's no secret why. However, Hawaii's cuisine is an underrated, yet worthwhile reason to visit the Aloha State.

Hawaiian food boasts bold flavors using fresh and local ingredients. Tropical fruits and seafood play a big role in Hawaiian cuisine, as well as local fare like kalua pig. Despite its amazing food, Hawaii does not have any Michelin Star restaurants, simply because the Michelin Guide has not yet reached the state.

That doesn't mean there aren't restaurants in Hawaii that are well worth the visit. Don't miss these seven incredible Hawaiian restaurants. If Michelin adds Hawaii to their growing list of U.S. locations, these restaurants definitely deserve a Michelin Star.
