Walmart is the biggest retail store in the world with a 2023 retail revenue of 635 billion and 10,569 stores across 19 countries (Amazon comes in second with 359.9 billion in revenue and 589 stores in 21 countries). In the U.S. alone, the retail giant rakes in 534 billion in domestic retail sales in 5,324 locations. It may be a lack of quality, or ethical concerns that make certain products best left on the shelves. (Walmart is not the only megastore where some products are best left there — here are 10 things to never buy at Target.)

To determine the products you should think twice about before buying at Walmart, 24/7 Tempo conducted thorough research, looking at customer reviews, price comparisons, and quality with competing stores and brands, as well as viewing Walmart's track record for specific products.
