Tons of Americans are having conversations about where the best places to relocate to are. One thing Americans care about a lot is what the climate is like in any given location. Climate-vulnerable areas are at the top of many people's radars since these places are often a little more affordable. Loads of Americans narrow down their options for where to live permanently by going on temporary vacations.

Short-lived getaways are a great way for American people to see what tickles their fancies. If you've never touched down in a certain destination before, how would you know how much you might love it? One super climate-vulnerable destination is Costa Rica. The Latin American country is worth exploring for Americans who are intrigued by its allure. Another climate-vulnerable destination that Americans are considering is Ethiopia. Ethiopia has a wonderful reputation as a beautiful East African country with much to visually offer.

Of course, without temporary trips and vacations on the itinerary first, it's a bit challenging for Americans to truly decipher where the best permanent destinations might be for the long haul. Here's a list of some of the most noteworthy climate-vulnerable areas where Americans can truly start fresh with a sense of fulfillment and excitement for their futures based on climate vulnerability. (While we're on the topic of weather, click here to uncover details about extreme weather phenomena you didn't know existed.)

To gather this list of climate-vulnerable areas Americans are moving to, 24/7 Tempo consulted several travel-centered sources. These include the International Rescue Committee, World Bank Climate Change Knowledge Portal, and World Food Program USA.
