Must-Listen Fitness Podcasts to Keep You Motivated and Moving

Most people want to stay in shape or at least stick to a healthy weight so they can be happy and live as long as possible. However, doing so is often easier said than done. There’s so much advice floating around that it can be hard to tell what is real and what is fiction. You need the advice of someone on whom you can depend, and luckily, there are many experienced podcasters you can lean on for positive guidance. Today, we’re going to look at the top podcasts for fitness.

The great thing about podcasting is that there is an expert in almost every field, so you can pick and choose what you want to listen to for your specific needs. This list includes many great options, including several that are focused on running, such as the Ali on the Run and Hurdle podcasts, which teach you everything you need to know about how to get the most out of your runs, prepare for marathons and more. There are also many podcasts out there that are hosted by doctors and certified medical experts, like Food, We Need to Talk and The Ready State Podcast. 

You could spend hours looking for and listening to the various podcasts that cover the varied subjects of fitness, and it’s great fun. The wonderful thing about starting a podcast is that anyone can do it, so if you love exercise and wellness, you could use inspiration from these and start your own show one day. This podcast is all about food, the science behind nutrition, and the facts we really need to remember as we go about our daily lives. The podcast is hosted by Dr. Eddie Phillips and June Gjata. Eddie is a doctor with a specialty in physical medicine. June Gjata is an experienced weightlifter. Together, they discuss healthy eating and exercise in an approachable way. This is like having a casual conversation with friends but you come out of it feeling so much better about your health and life.

Dave gives a lot of great general health advice that can help everyone live better lives. He also discusses digestion and gut health a lot, which may be of interest to many listeners. You could tune in to learn about everything from sports psychology to chronic pain treatments. He brings on scientists and experts in their field, and it’s all very interesting.
