Why It Was Good
At its heart, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is a tragic love story. It explores duty, sacrifice, and the heartbreaking nature of missed opportunities. Though the fight sequences are spectacular, they never overshadow the core relationship. Michelle Yeoh and Chow Yun-fat both give amazing performances and we’re rooting for them all the way up to the emotional ending.
