It doesn’t get any better than Mega Thrift if you love to thrift shop with a cart. With over 42,000 square feet of shopping, you can probably fill every closet in your house, from yours to the kids’. They also have plus sizes, which can’t be found at every thrift store. Their high-quality goods are affordable, with some clothing items under a buck. They claim to put 6,000 new items on the floor every day, so multiple trips to this one might be necessary!

Mega Thrift also sells shoes, accessories, home goods, toys, books, and electronics. One Yelper said she never leaves empty-handed and always spends one to three hours in the store!

Etc. Consignment Shoppe offers a variety of clothing, jewelry, home goods, and holiday decor. With over 29,000 consigners and 14,000 square feet of space, you’re sure to find something you can’t live without.

Etc. also sells accessories, appliances, furniture, and more, and you can shop the store online. They’re celebrating 28 years in business this year, having grown from a 3,000-square-foot space when they first opened. Yelpers love how clean and organized everything is, and appreciate the friendliness of the staff.

WS Rescue Mission Thrift Store — 704 Oak St. NW

WS Rescue Mission Thrift Store is a thrift store that has been giving back to the community since 1973. They sell donated furniture, mattresses and bedding, clothing, novelty items, and appliances. This 20,000-square-foot store also sells exercise equipment, baby items, books, housewares, and shoes, among other things.

Items are affordably priced and when you shop here, you’ll help the Mission provide food, clothing, and shelter to those in need. The Mission also offers recovery programs and hosts a free medical and dental clinic.

Goodwill Store and Donation Center — 2701 University Pkwy.

The Goodwill Store and Donation Center offers a variety of gently used clothing, housewares, books, and more. Like all Goodwill stores, it’s a nonprofit organization that helps to train and find jobs for those who are unemployed. There are several Goodwill locations throughout the area.

This location has plenty of apparel options for men, women, and children, with new and used items and affordable housewares, shoes, accessories, books, and more.
