"Friends" meant a lot to many people, and super fans of the show could probably answer any trivia question about it. The transition into adulthood is daunting and for many, their 20s are filled with important lessons that carry them into their 30s. "Friends" make transitions and life lessons easier, especially when you get to laugh with them every day. In the show's first season, you meet the whole Manhattan crew.
There's Rachel Green, a spoiled, fashion-forward runaway bride who decides it's time to cut herself off from daddy's money and learn to fend for herself. There's Monica Geller, the neurotic nurturer of the friend group, who has a rule for everything and a passion for cooking. The final female is Phoebe Buffay, the can't-tell-a-lie, always-hilarious, childlike musician. The personalities in the show are distinct yet somehow, they meld well together.
The men in the show include Ross Geller, Chandler Bing, and Joey Tribbiani. Ross is an intellectual who proudly studied paleontology and whose clumsiness and awkwardness tend to land him in quite the pickle. Chandler is the corporate one of the bunch, though not even his friends know what his job title is. His sarcasm cuts through even the tensest of moments, though the comedic relief isn't always appreciated. Joey is the womanizer who lacks quick wit but makes up for it with his big, ultra-squishy heart. Whether these personalities would meet and get along in real life, no one knows. But the writers of the show created a group of friends that feels like family.
It's a show that's easy to love. The comedy keeps it light-hearted each season, but you follow the characters throughout some pivotal moments of their lives. Some episodes make you root for love, others kind of tick you off, and then there are those that make you forget you have a care in the world because you're laughing so hard. And that's life. A little bit of everything. The beloved show is still a favorite for many, even if they can recite the lines verbatim from the pilot to the season finale. There's no such thing as too many reruns. It's just that good.
To put this list of "Friends" trivia questions together, 247 Tempo reviewed fan forums like Fandom and Reddit as well as YouTube clips, which highlighted some of the important moments in the show (and offered creative insight for trivia questions).
