Anthony Michael Hall was already a movie veteran by the time he joined SNL for one season. He appeared as Chevy Chase’s son in “National Lampoon’s Vacation” in 1983 and also was cast in the John Hughes movies “Sixteen Candles,” “The Breakfast Club,” and “Weird Science.” After his SNL stint, Hall appeared in “Edward Scissorhands” in 1990.

Bill Hader joined SNL as a featured cast member in 2005.
