Valerie Harper won her first three Emmy awards in 1971, 1972, and 1973 for her supporting role as Rhoda on “The Mary Tyler Moore Show.” She won her fourth and final Emmy for the same role in 1975, only as lead in the spin-off series “Rhoda.” Harper was nominated three more times for Best Actress in this lead role.
