Marvel movies have a big reputation for pulling out all the stops. That just so happens to be the case with “Madame Webb.” The reputation it has is already quite positive among social media users. The action-packed movie stars Sydney Sweeney, Dakota Johnson, and Emma Roberts in the leading roles.
Bob Marley: One Love — February 14
The life of Bob Marley is intriguing to reflect on since he was one of the most famous reggae musician to ever live. “Bob Marley: One Love” premieres on February 14, starring Kingsley Ben-Adir as Marley. The movie will focus on the adversity Marley had to overcome throughout his lifetime.
Dune: Part 2 – March 1

When viewers, think of characters like Godzilla and King Kong, they usually think of two daunting monsters who would put up a great fight against each other. “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire,” Godzilla and Kong aren’t enemies anymore. Instead, they’re allies who are willing to team up with each other to fight back against one mutual enemy. Dan Stevens is one of the main actors in the lineup.
Challengers – April 26
Trailers for “Challengers” starring Zendaya have been circulating on social media for months. There’s a lot to look forward to in this edgy sports-themed movie. It tells the story of a love triangle, consisting of tennis players, who are just as passionate about love as they are about their athleticism.
The Fall Guy – May 3
“The Fall Guy” is an interesting action movie to watch in 2024. It premieres on May 3, starring Ryan Gosling, Emily Blunt, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the leading roles. It tells the story of a missing persons case in the Hollywood industry. When a major actor goes missing, the entire world ends up in arms.
Back to Black — May 10
Amy Winehouse’s tragic death happened on July 23, 2011. The singer made a name for herself in the music industry before her life was cut short from alcohol poisoning. “Back to Black” is a movie that tells Winehouse’s story in a dramatized way. It hits theaters on May 10. Marisa Abela is the leading actress.
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes – May 24
Is the “Planet of the Apes” franchise ever going to end? That might not happen based on how well these movies do at the box office. “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” lands in theaters on May 24. The story of what the world would be like if genetically modified apes took over presses on. Freya Allan is the leading actress in the movie.
Bad Boys 4 – June 14
Back in 1995, “Bad Boys” made a huge impact on movie lovers everywhere. The original movie focused on Will Smith and Martin Lawrence playing two detectives trying to solve crimes with the Miami police department. “Bad Boys 4″ will continue telling their fictional story as the fourth installment in this franchise.
A Quiet Place: Day One – June 28
Horror movies aren’t for everyone, but if they’re for you, “A Quiet Place: Day One” is a fabulous 2024 movie to check out. It premieres on June 28 telling the story of the Abbott family from the very beginning of their hardships. The movie serves as somewhat of a prequel giving viewers better insight into the storyline. Despicable Me 4 – July 3
“Despicable Me 4” premieres on July 3. This is one of those animated movies that’s family-friendly, which means people of all ages will be able to find humor and enjoyment while watching it. Some of the voice actors in the lineup include Steve Carell, Miranda Cosgrove, and Kristen Wiig.
Deadpool 3 – July 26
The first “Deadpool” movie theaters in 2016. It was followed up by its sequel “Deadpool 2” in 2018. Now, on July 26, “Deadpool 3” will officially premiere. The third installment stars Ryan Reynolds in the titular role alongside Owen Wilson, Hugh Jackman, and Tom Hiddleston. Get ready to see some action-packed heroism!
Beetlejuice 2 – September 6
The original “Beetlejuice” movie premiered in 1987. It’s since been labeled a cult classic with fans obsessing over it for several decades. “Beetlejuice 2″ premieres on September 6 with Catherine O’Hara, and Winona Ryder returning to reprise their roles. There’s a reason “Joker: Folie a Deux” is one of the most highly anticipated movies of 2024. Lady Gaga will be joining Joaquin Phoenix in the cast as none other than Harley Quinn. The role was once perfected by Margot Robbie, and now Gaga has a chance to try her hand at it. This one premieres on October 4.
Venom 3 – November 8
“Venom 3” is the third installment in the “Venom” franchise from DC. Tom Hardy is the actor behind the role of Venom, and he’s never missed a beat handling such a versatile role. Along with playing the aesthetically unappealing monster, he also takes on Venom’s alter ego, Eddie Brock.
Wicked Part 1 – November 27

People have been talking about the new “Wicked” movie starring Ariana Grande as Glinda the Good Witch for quite some time now. It’s going to be time to finally see the movie in theaters on November 27. Anyone who appreciated the original “Wizard of Oz” movie will likely enjoy this film and all of its magic.
The Karate Kid – December 13
When the original “Karate Kid” franchise got started back in the 80s, Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio were heavily talked about by movie lovers everywhere for being part of such an excellent franchise. “The Karate Kid” will premiere on December 13 with connections to Netflix is hit show “Cobra Kai.”
Mufasa: The Lion King – December 20
On December 20, viewers will get the chance to watch “Mufasa: The Lion King” in theaters. This photorealistic movie will focus on the main villain of the animated movie, “The Lion King.” We’re referring to none other than Mufasa’s brother, Scar. Aaron Pierre is the voice actor who plays Mufasa.
Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse — TBD
The exact date that “Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse” will be released in theaters has not been determined yet. What we do know is that this animated movie will continue telling the stories of Miles Morales as the final film of the entire action-packed trilogy. Nadji Jeter is the main voice actor.
