The comics came out in 2003 and ended in 2019 after 193 issues. It’s spanned into a series of graphic novels since then. The TV series debuted in 2010 and lasted 11 seasons. In its time, “The Walking Dead” was nominated for 237 awards and won 85 of them, including these:

The show also received a Bram Stoker Award for its screenplay writing. Glen Mazzara won the award in 2013 for “Welcome to the Tombs.” I admit to being a big fan of the zombie genre, and “The Walking Dead” is one of the best TV series about zombies. It inspired other writers to come forward and offer their takes on the living dead.
