Writing, creating, producing and releasing frequent top hit songs is difficult, but once it’s done, it’s an impressive achievement. For this list, we will be diving into the artists with the most top 10 hits. To make this list, the artist needed to have released multiple top 10 hits. Unsurprisingly, on our list, you can find big names in different musical genres like Madonna, Drake, Taylor Swift, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
Some of the artists on our list were able to hold the record for number one song for weeks, sometimes even months. For instance, “Irreplaceable” by Beyonce was number one for an impressive ten weeks. Another incredible record is Kanye West’s “Gold Digger,” which remained number one also for ten weeks.
So, who has the most top 10 hits, and how many do they have so far? The Weeknd has had many hit singles and songs. They have 18 top 10 hits and have stayed at the top 10 for 232 weeks. Interestingly, artists don’t have to have the most top 10 hits to remain on the top 10 list for long. For instance, while Justin Beiber doesn’t have the most top 10 hits on our list, he stayed in the top 10 for an astounding 325 weeks. (After this incredible article, don’t forget to also check out our list of the 25 artists who never seem to leave the Hot 100.)
To determine the artists with the most top 10 hits, 24/7 Tempo reviewed Hot 100 chart data from Billboard magazine. Artists were ranked based on the total number of songs that have entered the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. Songs were ranked based on an inverse point system wherein a week at No. 1 is worth 100 points, a week at No. 2 is worth 99 points, and so on. Data is current through March 16, 2024.
Here is the list of the artists with the most top 10 hits.
