Chef Tyson Cole’s original Uchi in Austin spawned the offshoot Uchiko there and an Uchi in Houston, and this outpost opened in the Dallas Arts District in 2015. The fare is Japanese, often through a contemporary American filter, with fresh seafood flown in daily from Japan.
